Coventry Lightways went into limbo a year ago, due to the organiser's circumstances. It was a monthly meeting group which offered talks on a myriad of topics to those in Coventry & surrounding area who have open minds and are always eager & willing to learn new views & paths in spirituality. However...

I have now taken over this venture, and it will be relaunched again in July 2008, with meets on the third Tuesday of every month at the Friends Meeting House in Hill Street. It will cover healing therapies, religion & spirituality, counselling & coaching....and if there is enough interest, excursions to places of energetic importance.

I am in the process of signing up speakers who will give interesting, interactive and alternative points of view so participants will never be bored! So far the following have been confirmed:

July: Moira Bush on Colour Therapy

August: Buddhist monk Ven. Dawa on His Life Journey.

September: Fay Palmer on Dowsing and Health

October: Barry Patterson on The Spirit of the Land, in word, rhythm & song.

November: Janine Regan on Crystal Ki.

December:

January 09: Nayana Patel on Psychotherapy

Later months to be confirmed & updated - the journey has just begun!

Coventry Lightways is a non-profit making venture, aimed at disseminating alternative views to the general public & giving them the opportunity to contact or discuss issues with therapists & other lifestyle practitioners, to whom they may not have had access previously. Those who give talks will be eligible for free promotion on the website, http://www.coventrylightways.co.uk . This site is very soon to be completely re-vamped, with more information & a section for articles.

If you are interested in finding out what else is 'out there', please contact me to have your email addy put on the mailing list. Enquiries also welcomed from those interested in giving a presentation.

I've been summoned to a committee meeting on that night.

There IS a danger that the committee want to meet on the third Tuesday of every month but I want to be at Lightways. So I might have to play 'miss one, attend one' in both instances. I really want to be at Lightways when Fay Palmer is there.

Perhaps the Universe will arrange things for me.

No, it's not Aura Soma, Lynn, but the bottles look very similar.

26 people came, which is pretty good, & the presentation was interesting & got everyone involved. It was a really great evening, even although she turned up almost half an hour late - and I didn't have a plan B!!

She wasn't really late for the talk start time - just cutting it a bit fine by arriving after the audience!

It was very well attended, Lynn, by a bunch of really pleasant people (presumably they were old Lightways regulars?)

The talk was very interesting with a lot of colour/scent/energy experiments. To my complete amazement Moira even intoduced the topic of ascension towards the end.
