Sound very interesting and at a reasonable cost.

Will have to check the diary.

I don't think I'll manage the April one, but have definitely put the Thursday 22nd May outing in my diary! 8)

Interested in the 21st August too. (Coincidentally, I've just been past that Kenilworth area today!)

Fay Palmer is the lady I did the dowsing workshop with at Guy's Cliffe. :) I've since discovered that said workshop was part of her accreditation as a registered tutor for the BSD - we all had to send feedback.

Well, what can I say?

We met Fay in Castle Green. The sun was beating down and it was very hot. We walked down Purlieu Lane, stopping here and there to dowse for the ley lines, spirals and blind springs. We also had to dodge the cars that were using the dirt track. Purlieu Lane is just one car wide and has steep sides and was very dusty.

We all had goes with our angle rods and pendulumsat each of the stops. There were about twelve of us, some of whom were absolute beginners.

We heard thunder in the distance but weren't concerned.

Once we left the sheltered walkway of Purlieu Lane we were in open country. We stopped at about the half way point of our walk to dowse for the intersection of two ley lines and the associated spiral and a few drops of rain began to fall.

Five minutes later the heavens opened. Thunder, lightning, hail and driving rain. Most of us didn't have any waterproof clothing with us and so we got absolutely soaked through to our 'unmentionables'.

We plodded on for about 30 minutes through the storm until we reached our starting point when it stopped raining and the sun came out again.

We, that's SWMBO (who did have a waterproof jacket with her, so her 'top' was dry) and me then had to draped the plastic sheet from the boot (trunk, for Linda  ) of the car across the seats because we were dripping everywhere. My waterproof boots were full of water which had run down my legs!

Funnily enough we weren't cold. Just very, very wet.

Drove home for a warm shower and dry clothes. LOVELY!!! :D :D :D

I haven't been that wet through for years. It makes you thankful for the shelter our homes, vehicles and waterproof clothing give us for the rest of the time. :D

On consideration it was a most enjoyable experience and we did learn more about dowsing. Fay will be holding an evening meeting for those of us who want to finish this first meeting because, during the storm, it was impossible to dowse for anything but the water that surrounded us.

What!!!!! With all that lightning about?????

We held them down, not up.

One of the party had an umbrella and we all kept away from her!!

We were in open grass fields with no trees or high points anywhere near - except Kenilworth Castle about a quarter of a mile away.
