Seems like the weather will be decent for tonight's walk. 8)

It appears there's no direct access to the golf course from the A46 - you have to go into Kenilworth & take that little B road down to the golf club. See map here. (Zoom out)

Access to the Warwickshire Golf Club is from the roundabout on the road from the A46. That is the third junction up the Warwick Road from the A46 on that map.

You'll miss the meeting if you go down Woodloes.

You mean the junction where you can turn off the A46 into the A429 to get to Guys Cliffe?

There weren't many photo opportunities actually. There was a lot of walking & not so much dowsing! :? It lasted 3 hours, not 2, and was almost completely dark when we finished! However, the area was stunning (by a golf course but lots of natural habitat preserved) and she was trying to teach us to 'see' luminous tree spirits as orbs. She sees them all over the place - has always been able to do this. I did actually see one at one point!! It was like looking at a big lens, or seeing a floating bubble...very difficult to explain.

This pic is taken by what she calls a 'lead tree' - the one that has been 'elected' by the other trees to be the main communicator. We dowsed its aura which, oddly, reached just to the edge of where the grass had been mowed around it in a circular manner! You can see that in the first pic.

Here's Paul communing with the lead tree..

I've included this pic as it looks relevantly spooky!! :lol!: Hehe! Actually - the flash didn't go off!! I've had to brighten these pics as it was pretty dark!

There is a lead tree, son sells lead wood for umpires to make lead bales so they won't blow off in the wind. It is extremely heavy.

Since having my computer 'repaired' I'm not getting any of your images, Thais BUT I am seeing Arfa's :? :(

I am having to go back to my 'little man' to get it sorted. :x

However, it was a pity we did so much walking BUT, as Thais says, the surroundings were stunning.

That's very odd that you can see images hosted by Photobucket but not by Image Shack! :? I can think of no reason for this.

By the way...I forgot to mention that we dowsed for blind springs (is that the right term, Paul - the water that's underground but can't get to the surface?? I may have got it wrong!) and I was able to detect these with the pendulum, but not with the L rods, which surprised me. But there was not a twitch from my L rods, although I saw that others were doing it.

[Edited for correct wording!!]

Is that the same as black streams - trapped underground water carrying stagnant energy? That is the problem I had at my old house in Shirebrook as the site used to be a coal mine and was riddled with them.

Still can't see your leprechauns, Thais.

The term you are trying to remember is 'blind springs' which are springs which cannot rise to the surface.

Aha - yes that's the phrase!! I knew that!!

And yes, HoM, that's precisely it. Fay commented how people get to feeling really ill when they live on top of this for any length of time, or even for a short time. Her tip for combatting it....place a really big stone right on the centre of the spring! It seems to absorb the bad energy.

I thought that at first too, Arfa, but it says 'Irish Made' on the backs & Wade never used that mark, I'm afraid, as far as I can find out - it was 'made in Ireland'. :(
