thais it's the light reflecting off the water, not the water droplet itself.
on indoor photos they're light reflecting off dust.

From the size of some of the 'reflections' the dust particles must be huge. :?

Here is one that the 'other lady' (Liz) has just sent me, taken at the gatehouse of the old abbey...I've lightened it a little so you can see it better..

They are definitely water droplets, in the last picture the orb is right on the end of the leaf which you would expect to see droplets.

Paul its reflection you can see not the size of the dust or water.

Very interesting, Arfa, but why that one drop when there were drops on the ends of all the leaves? :?

It is also strange that the sizes of the 'reflections' are all about the same size :? and all appear to have the same 'structural characteristics'. One would have thought that different sized particles in the atmosphere would have have differently sized reflections.

Also, as the air is full of dust and other particles why don't these show up in every flash photograph almost to the extent of obscuring the main subject of the photograph?

I'm afraid that I am still undecided about the origin of these occurrences and am investigating further before finally making up my mind about whether they exist as Orbs or are figments of a flash photograph.

Paul, are you going to the walk on Sunday 19th October?

The walk will be on a footpath over the land belonging to Firs Farm, Haseley at the site of an old village. The theme of the walk is largely archaeological dowsing, but if anyone wants to do earth energy dowsing as well I am more than happy to incorporate this into the walk. I'm sure by 4.00pm there will be planty of orbs and sphere's present again, if the photo's from the last walk are anything to go by!

Please park a little further south past Firs Farm itself along the lane. There are some wide dry verges about a four minute walk away from the site, I shall meet you at the parking point. The address of the farm is

Firs Farm
Haseley
Warwick CV35, UK
(near Beausale)

and the link to the Google map is http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wl

If you are, and could give me a lift, I'd appreciate it.

(Hmm...the map doesn't show the location at all! )

I'm off to look in the diary.

Yup, I've already got it booked for the dowsing walk.

If you want a lift, do I have to come to Coventry to get you or can we meet half way?

Since I wrote that, I've found a map location for Firs Farm.. here. Fay does find the most obscure places to go! I think I will have to ask her for more detailed instructions on how to get there! Looks like I'll have to go to Balsall Common & then take the A4141 etc... I'm cr@p at finding these places unless I know them.

Could either of you give ME a lift please? Thais, I'm on your way, and Paul, I'm on your way to Coventry if you go there! :P
Also willing to act as a meeting point and can offer moderately effective map reading skills :D :drinking: !

Hi HoM,

Unfortunately Coventry and Kenilworth are the far side of the meeting place from me at Solihull and so I can't really be of help to you. :(

Thais would possibly be your best bet as she might be travelling through Kenilworth although she could decide to go down the A46 to the A4141(?) - the Solihull/Birmingham/Warwick Parkway turn-off - and travel to the Five Ways roundabout at Shrewley. Offers of money might get her to travel via Kenilworth
