I just found a place that gives me good vibes... http://www.tremymor.co.uk ...in beautiful North Wales.

I am interested in the 'exploring mystic sites' one, but can't do the first one in June. There's another in October, but it's 2 days mid-week. I'll have to look into that, as it coincides with a Lightways evening.

A big plus for me is that they allow dogs! :)

Do have a look at the site & tell me what you think!

What a coincidence, I have just booked today to visit Llandudno and the Snowdonia area for August. We are doing LLenberis and the 3 lakes up there and the 3 railways.

just noticing that the skies hold rainbows and colors that you have posted Thais.

Am seriously noticing that linnyx wants to win the real lotto so she and her remnants can jet off to meet her friends there when ever we want,
looking at the site reminds me that we are unlimited and joined,
love

I was going to go there last year - ended up going to Cortijo Romero instead. It did look beautiful but for the workshop I was going to do it transpired that I was going to be the only one on it! Wonderful, if you want a real "retreat", but I was looking for more of a holistic break, a small group type thing. At some stage though, I would definitely consider going if there was a group workshop in something I was interested in.

We've got a book with lots of retreats listed in it. When I have a bit more time I'll post its title.

We've got ten of our friends here for the day tomorrow and SWMBO has had my nose and her own to her grindstone polishing everthing   .

We will both be exhausted by tomorrow night but that is our one-in-six-years'-duty over. :D

Yep, I think so. Not too many people signing up - I know how they feel. :(

I was only attracted to this one, Paul, as it included trips to mystic sites, and I wanted to dowse! But thanks anyway.

Well, we're going up to Scotland for my birthday week and are staying a short distance from Lockerbie.

The email we have had from the owner tells us that ...........

Quote:
Rennaldburn is a seventeenth-century farmhouse, reputedly the first house built by Thomas Telford under the apprenticeship of a master stonemason.
It sits secluded in three and a half acres of land, part of which is a wooded ravine with a beautiful waterfall running through it (and two-storey tree house overlooking it!), two miles South of Samye Ling Tibetan Centre in Eskdalemuir (in-between Lockerbie and Langholm in Dumfries and Galloway).
Visible from the house and five minutes walk away, by the river Esk that winds through the valley, are the Loupin Stanes. This is one of many prehistoric sites in the area, including the Girdle Stanes, another ancient stone circle twenty minutes walk down the valley
The centrally heated farmhouse has recently been lovingly refurbished in an earth-friendly way, and has many unique features inside. Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms looking out on the valley as well as a small single room with a skylight. Downstairs is the sitting room, also with an open fire. This holds an extensive library, specialising in books of a spiritual and esoteric nature (particularly Tibetan Buddhism). There is also a music system, computer (with broadband, DVD player and selection of DVDs) and pedal organ. The under-floor heated kitchen, with all cooking and washing facilities, has a door leading to the front garden.
Rennaldburn is vegetarian, non-smoking, and child-friendly, with cot and high chair available if required.

Not quite as nice as your retreat but we'll enjoy it and, hopefully, get some dowsing in at the two stone circles. :D but photos will be produced when we return.

(SWMBO found this in the Cygnus magazine and it is not as expensive as the Derbyshire place we went to :D :D )
