I'm reading this page and thinking 'I don't remember Helen losing her debit card a coupla months ago' ohhh that was March 2015! I am also in Spain. Flew to Malaga, drove to Ronda (ohhh that amazing bridge!) for 2 nights then up the mountains to Grazalema for one night, now in a villa with swimming pool 8) 40 mins from Jerez, went to the horse fair, amazing coastline at Barrosa beach / Sancti Petri, visiting Cadiz next week.

Oh Lynn! One of the negatives about living in the most sparsely populated parts of the world is that while we have interesting things here and in Aussie, we lack the variety of cultures and history of being close to Europe. It's a major undertaking to go so far that now I happily wander through the hundreds of photos we took and the journal we kept back in 2008 and 2009.

Michael, Enjoy your memories of all the amazing things you've done and wonderful places you've seen. You've done / seen more than most of us have, I'm trying to catch up with you a bit! 8)

I had a great time in Ibiza, laughed a lot, some lovely meals & saw old friends. My grandson is very bright, my sister in law has put on a lot of weight, and my son is just the same!

I took quite a few pics but as I took them on my phone, difficult to upload here. I managed to get a couple of them on Flickr but now it's playing sillybuggers & can't load any more at the moment.

A couple of the very few clouds I saw while I was there!

Off to Ibiza again on 1st April for a few days. I got return tickets - with different airlines - for the ridiculous price of £59!! I couldn't say no to that, could I?!

I didn't go to Ibiza in the end, just couldn't face the journey. Old age is a bummer.

That is a pity, Helen, but I do know what you mean. :(

oh such a shame if you didn't get to go. If only Scotty could beam us up and save all the airport hassles.

Helen, just checking in to see if you are OK. My friend looks forward all year to his Greek holiday, but he didn't go last month due to being unable to face the journey at the last minute, the stress brought on a kind-of breakdown. I've been worried about him. Hope you are ok. We flew back from Turkey, all that queuing and walking at the airport, then having to stand for almost an hour at the gate cos all seats were taken, arrived home at 5 a.m. it's exhausting!
