Totnes is only about 20 mins from here.

Lynn - any time I've ever PMed you asking if you'd be available if I came to Torquay on such-&-such a date & looked you up for a reading....there's always been a reason why you couldn't!! :|

We are off to Bristol for the weekend.

Just a bit too far away from Lynn to get our palms read. :(

have a good time Paul. We're off to Bristol again 20th June overnight, to see Van Morrison. Concert was originally scheduled for early March, we booked a room, then concert was postponed - so we went to Bristol anyway. Lots to see and do, love the waterfront, lots of quirky things at Bristol's City Museum and Art Gallery, went to the Clifton Suspension Bridge and down a cave near there that used to be a church. Also saw Banksy's famous wall painting

(I think it was on the road up to the museum)
Are you visiting anywhere in particular Paul? let us know if there's anything we should see when we go in June.

btw thais - I really wasn't trying to avoid you in previous years, you just chose dates when I was busy - working as I recall. I don't know why you seem to have taken it personally, I had no idea you felt that way. I would have been happy to meet you last weekend.

I'm not taking it personally! It happened more than twice, if I remember correctly, and I just assumed you didn't want to meet personally! No problem in that.

However, this last weekend was dependent on the Lady Renelda (my friend) and what she wanted to do. I have a free bus pass so no problems, but of course she had to pay for all her travel, so I let her decide where we went.

Next time! :)

I'm away from 27th June to the 5th July in the Lake District.

We will have a phone, an old radio and an old analogue TV but no computer.

Have good holidays and day trips you all!

I was only one day in the Lake District, Paul, and it was winter -- but I loved it!

We're off for Las Vegas in the wee hours tonight for our girl (now guys) trip. Unfortunately, I won't be able to tell you anything about it, because you know what they say about Vegas.....
Weather forecast: 98F, or so, all week.

Come the end of October, we're off to see the European Parliament in Strasbourg. We are going on the trip with our U3A and, because we are in a party and prepared to visit the Parliament building, we get awhopping great subsidy from them which makes the trip very reasonable. 8)
