We are off to Tintagel to indulge ourselves in the myths of King Arthur and, hopefully, to enjoy some lovely weather.

It is 13 years since we were last there. Doesn't time fly?

It is the start of a lovely day here but the sky if full of chem-trails as 'they' try to block the sun by creating clouds.

Hope you're enjoying it Paul, I love Tintagel and surrounding areas.
One of those trails in the sky was me flying home from Turkey! :D

I've just been able to load my phone photos to the computer - so....... for Linny and the rest of you

Here is us crossing the new high level bridge to Tintagel Castle Island (one of the homes of the Legendary King Arthur)

and here is a view of the Island with the bridge on the right hand side

Up many steps is the new bronze statue of King Arthur and his sword with Gill and our friend Maggie

Here is the cove at the base of the Island

where there is Merlin's Cave where Merlin the Magician is supposed to have lived

That looks like the perfect, defendable place to live. King Arthur sure was tall, wasn't he?
The pictures are very good.

I would love to visit there, but I think it's a bit too late for me. Looking forward to anymore photos Paul.

Here we go again ...
Second day in Cornwall we traced a stone circle on top of Bodmin Moor - the Stannon Circle where we dowsed for the energies and held a healing circle (with Little Rough Tor in the background)

Image

Image

and then on to Kerdroya where they are building a labyrinth in 'Cornish Hedges' (two outer layers of dry stone walling filled in with earth and topped with turf). [Some of these have been 'excavated' and found to be over 4000 years old which means they are the oldest ancient constructions in the world which are still fulfilling their original functions].
Overview

Image

The centrepiece cast in bronze
Image

Gill by a completed bit
Image

And a plaque on the site showing the labyrinth with the outline of Cornwall perforated into it

St Nectan's Glen and Rocky Valley will follow.
