When we went to Tunisia it cost us £50.00 each.
Mind you it was in 1967 when the government restricted all holidays to a maximum of £50.00.

I didn't realise you had currency restrictions at that time. We did, it was almost impossible to send money out of the country then. Because I was leaving the country for a long period I could take out more and I was asked to accept some £150 to pay a bill in Brighton for our local church , who had ordered and received a stained glass window. It seemed that even the Godly weren't allowed to send money! I got to look around a very interesting workshop though!
