As Michael said, an interesting-looking place. It looks fairly dry.

Thanks for sharing Paul. I like the pics of Gill walking the labyrinth. And if I hover my mouse over it, your smiling face pops up! :)

I LOVED those piccies so much!!! There are so many plants that mirror Hawaii (and Phoenix  ), so the architecture is a nice contrast and it's so good to see your faces.....I just want to reach out and squg you both (that would be squish hug)!! I've never even hoid of this place before....so I'll have to look it up later, since I don't know how to use this stupid tablet and open up new windows at the same time without crashing it. What a beautiful place and I echo Michael!!! Laffing so hard at the sunbathing birdie.

Off we go to the USA & Canada on Friday and, IF we can get SWMBO's new iPad to work you might get some news while we are away and even a photo or two.

If we can't work it you will have to wait until we return - just before my birthday.

Be good while I am away. :usa

Hi from the USA! This is being sent from Gill's iPad.

The weather is very hot - for us Brits - as it is in the low 80's F.

We have seen most of the family here and after yet another party, wll be moving on to Vancouver tomorrow.

I hope all is well with you all and will post again when we find another free WiFi zone.

Real time updates from the trip abroad!!!! I just LOVE THAT!!! So glad to hear from you and that all is well with you both, having seen family and fair weather. How long has it been since you have seen this family tree? Are you getting to see the sights? Hope you are taking some photos that we can see. Hugs all around Paul!!! Wish we were closer and could drive over. There is nothing more exciting than seeing people you love who have traveled great distances!!!

Hi Linnyx - it is 14 years since we saw our nephews but my bro & his wife were over to see us 4 yrs ago. We have never met any of our great nieces & nephews. It was a good noisy time with many parties.
We are now in Kamloops (Canada) having left Vancouver Island this A M after 3 days there. Driving is good - even on the wrong side of the road  - particularly because we were given a Dodge Charger  (the Police use them!).
Off tomorrow to our Godson's. Home in Canmore Alberta where we will be based before we return to the UK on the 16/17th.
Piccies will follow once we have mastered getting 'em off this iPad.
Will try to contact again when we get more free WiFi.

OH goodie, goodie, good, good. Adapting to the iPad technology is a little tricky....but driving on the wrong, right side of the road is beyond my ken!!! I just love, love enjoying the surfing of other people's travels when it's happening. Sending rockets of joy and a shuffle off to Buffaloe (soft shoe danzing) all aboust. Did you get to see Buchart Gardens???
Very intrepid happy returns.. :D :D :D :D

We arrived yesterday in sunshine and all it has done today is ..................SNOW!

We went shopping first thing and had to return to the house because of the snow. We have had to borrow warm coats, etc. :(

Hopefully things will get better.
