You know, when I was a youngun, I got the gift of being surrounded by elders. They were presents and more fully present, sources of intensely interesting knowledge and life experiences that I would never know. Things thar are truly worth knowing about, like how to survive the existences of life. This new world seems to treasure and reward the large scale accomplishments of the day, plastered all over the place...when it's often the simple little things that accumulate into a pattern of contentment or wise observations. I guess I don't find you boring Helen. :P

Everyone has a dull patch every now and then but inside everyone is an interesting story trying to get out.

It is nice to have a place (here) where we can witter-on about this and that and no-one criticises about the wittering and in many case can sympathise or make encouraging remarks.

I agree with Paul so much Helen!!! And I also know the feeling that "I'm so boring I can't believe it." You are not boring to us. We love the you, you is.

How many of us have experienced Ibiza? I'd love to know more. I loved your bus adventures, and even the pretty cuppa you had. Course, the folks from here are my favorite FB posters as well. Never vain glorious, always interesting and kind...where ever you be.

Yes, but that was the past, Linny - this is now! I've had an interesting life but, at the moment, not very interesting at all. Maybe because I've lost the passion I had for so many things, sadly. Where did the passion go?!
