In response to your requests here are 12 more shots from our holiday. Some of them are slightly different views of what you have already seen.

The outside of the Cemetery at Pisa
The inside of the Duomo at Pisa
Another shot of the inside of the Duomo at Pisa

More of the inside of the Duomo at Siena
Vinci (YOU KNOW - where Leonardo came from)
The little piazza outside the Leonardo Exhibition in Vinci
Florence - the baptistry(foreground) the Giotto bell tower and the Duomo
the inside of the Dome of the Duomo in Florence. The rest of the inside was bare marble - most disappointing.
A Buddha in the Palazzo Strozzi, Florence
The copy of David in the Piazza della Signoria, Florence. (Er - he is the one on the plinth
)
It IS strange that the Cathedrals - sorry, Duomos - in most of these towns were built of bands of white and dark green marble. Some of them had frescos on their walls and others had inlaid marble floors with religious 'pictures' and yet the most recognised, in Florence, was almost bare of any decorations at all.
These are what I consider to be the best of all of our photos and do not intend to post any more - so enjoy.
