No, I don't move until the 11th October, Linny.

I guess we could ask how the packing is going.

Most of it done now, just the 'bits & pieces' and of course the TV & computer stuff.
Amazing how many boxes of stuff can be accumulated in a tiny 1 bed flat!! But it'll almost disappear in the big 2 bed flat I'm going to! :P I imagine.

aha!! Of course, it does take time doesn't it??? This is the icky part of boxed living. I'm just so excited for you.
Swansea is called Copperopolis according to Wiki and they are so adept at dealing with complex mineral extraction that
even Arizona sends a large portion of their ore over for smelting. I thought that was such a interesting connection.

I think the Swansea you've been researching is in Massachusetts, Linny! Try Swansea, Wales, UK! :o

Just double checked and it is Swansea Wales, just 19th century Swansea. If I ever got my stuff together, I would be......highly effective  ...but not nearly so :silly:

Life is good in linnyxland, because I keep forgetting my problems.

You are correct, Linny, Swansea, Wales, WAS called Copperopolis because of the large amount of copper that passed through it. :)

From the beginning of next week, I'll have to try & pack up my computer :drinking: so will be offline for a few days.
There are so many cables & whatnot, dunno what I'm going to do with all of them! :turn-l: Not to mention the tower, hub, printer etc!
Wish me luck.

Good luck with the move. Hope you don't lose as many things as we seem to have! Still, it's not 2 years yet maybe some will still turn up! :-)

Moved in, and unpacked a lot of stuff! 8) All very traumatic & stressful (for me) but the way lies ahead now.
I'll update you on all the ins & outs later - got to register with a doc today and boy, do they ask for documents & ID?!

From the lack of news, Linny, I think Helen is more 'out' than 'in' at this time.
