thanks Laura, I was useless with image shack so thought I'd try photobucket. hmmm seems its me at fault and not the photo hosts!! I could do thumbnails on imageshack but can't figure out photobucket yet. I've tried editing it, but still maxing out the screen. sorry thais, will ask you to delete this thread once I figure it out. |

Hi Lynn, The photos are ok on my screen. I just had to scroll a bit for the panorama. Lovely photos. Loading up into photobucket (if I remember correctly) you can state the size of the photo to be uploaded before you upload it. I think there are about 3 or 4 sizes mentioned. I don't think you can edit the picture sizes once they have been uploaded. I seem to remember that I had to delete them and re-upload them at the 'correct' size. It is a long time since I used Photobucket but I must get back into practise for my shots of Italy in June. |

Super shots Lynn, well done. I find photobucket much easier than image shack, photobucket is so simple, strangely it changed its format yesterday, but still simple. As Paul says browse from your folder open then upload, top link is for email , choose the size you need for you forum, I use the bottom link for mine. Something like that, but once you have used it a few times it becomes easy. Arfa |

Thanks folks. I've figured photobucket out now. when I uploaded multi files I didn't notice it was set to max size 17" I've changed them to forum size so should be ok now. by the way I didn't take either of those pics! Deleted them above, starting again!! |

coincidentally Laura we are making Moroccan lamb tomorrow and looked today for that tagine sauce, no luck so will make our own! Linny, photobucket is much easier than imageshack, it's only taken me 24 hrs to get the hang of it!  ok here are some more..... |

Lynn- These pictures remind me very much of Ephesus-I've googled me brains out and is it correct that it is a day trip from Akyaka? The geology and landscape seems very reminiscent of our limited exposure...I can't remember the name of the town that the ship landed on.... it was pretty embarrassing-since I was told it was ok to wear shorts, and did. Yep-that be the place. Lasted about 20 minutes there....got tangled in the net of a holyman, flipped out and my dad wanted bottled water. We had a been given a mission to buy some leather coats for the family. I was so confused, and a dear person who had much mercy (by this time, we were surrounded by all mayhem), led us to a quiet shop where the water could be bought and carried back to my father. We walked through the market....and I cried for I do not know how to bargain. I just wanted to give. The man in the little market knew I could not do this arguing and gave us the bottled water to deliver to my dad & gave us a map to catch the quickest way out. It was so kind of him. I learned quickly to cover myself and be respectful. The whole Kusadasi experience lasted about 30 minutes. It was our first time on foreign soil. I went crying home to my mommy and the boat. The next day, Bill Clinton was helicoptered into Ephesus. It was a very special experience for we were allowed a very quiet sacred walkabout. My brother in law was dying of stomach cancer at the time-so we were able to devote many avenues of this trip to his transistion. It sounds so silly, but the tourist group of many religions accidentally were conjoined in praying the "Lord's Prayer," and I heard the woman's voice saying return my son to his faith of origin. CGITMS would have nothing to do with it, It was 1999. The stones spoke very clearly. Louder than the hawkers. Bless be them all-what a dork love linnyx |
