I recognise her and she's still beautiful, inside & out. lovely photos. but I don't remember lending her my mid '70's embroidered cheesecloth top?

 laffing my axx off. That's a peyote bird pendant-given to me by a Zuni-still got it. Wearing earth boots. Made the blouse. Those are orbs and the photographer was a prof. camera guy-couldn't explain 'em either, or the mark on the throat. Ciderman- me too, more laffing. I did mean it to be in poetry-for youth is poetry, especially when you look back to remember who you really are. love you guys so much, xoxo |

Now, here is the thing that I didn't know. First-it was CGITMS that found these piccies and made them available for me to post. I didn't want to do it. Too much spotlight, self-aggrandizement, yada, yada.... His wisdom was a shake up. It was-LISTEN GIRLIE... She's older now-didn't pass on the rudiments of the family plan, (but got "humbled" yep, that's the fundie Christian word for being real) and didn't pass it forward one single day, to our progeny. On PURPOSE!! It ain't about Linda-it's about the skinz. How they sing, rattle and drum us forward through terrible times. How do you learn to love a mother and father that loved and thwarted you at the same time? It's happening everyday. But these pictures aren't about me. They are about calling forth the very roots of what choices you make. Always have been called transparent and naive. THANK the committee. I have beaten myself to death for less, and better still-survived worse than that. There are beauties and uglies doing the same thing right now. Every single moment is so beautiful. I hope you all remember the youthful causal factor that precipitated your current manifestation. That is my sincerest wish for you all. We've all been looker's, seeker's and finders. I'll try to be quiet for now. But for real-I thot I was ugly-because I was told that over and over again. What a bunch of crap. The thing is, ladies, you are STILL beautiful.!  In fact we all are. The difference is that we have just got weighed down with the troubles of the World which didn't really affect us when we were younger. |
