A Small Tail
I would love to have one wish I am fed up of being just a fish All I do is swim around all day Getting myself in everybodies way
Could be a huge magnificent whale With a great big mouth and a large tail Maybe I could just get out this watter I could end up with chips on a platter
When you think about it isn’t too bad I still have got my mum, but not dad Dad went and got himself canned Never to return to our wonderland
I think my wish has just been granted Took a hook and on the deck got planted Fisherman held me and took a long look “This little fish is far too small to cook”
He threw me back into the deep sea So back with my mum, oh lucky me Could have ended up as someones tea Really great to be young, small and free
So no more silly ideas about wishes Will stay on the bottom with the fishes Mum tells me whales can get marooned If they are not careful, can get harpooned
The moral of this small tale must be If you are little and small like me To make your life really worthwhile Be sure and choose the right lifestyle
