I said some time ago that I had a few tales ( no pun intended ) to tell about a dog we had many years ago.
This story also finished up in my son's magazine so I am putting it on here with a link to that site.
There are two more stories about "PRINCE" if anyone is interested but please tell me if you get fed up with any tales that I put here. I dont want to become a bore. :)

NOW THAT IS A GOOD'UN!!!!
laffed my silly arse off Maisie-what a beautiful eccentric little sweeheart----and the part about him tearing apart the room and smart enough to stay in the middle of it

That brick is amazing. That's a pretty heavy thing for a cairn to haul around-do you know if it was a piece of one of his previous people? or do I dare say it?
Was he a mason in a dogsuit?
Could he walk about as fast with the brick as without it?

and no-I never find your stories or you a bore.
love,
linnyx

:D :D :D :D :D Was he a mason in a dogsuit. :D :D :D :D :D

Linny you are a gem. You come out with such comical verbal statements I am killing myself with laughter here.

"PRINCE" would walk quickly for about five minutes and then sit down to have a lick of the brick.
God knows what he found in it that tasted so nice but he loved his brick and refused to go anywhere without it. He was such a lovable rogue and he was getting on in years too.
I will go and sort out the second story about him.

We've gotten soooo much fun of sharing PRINCE with all sorts of people today,

like poor next door neighbor to Phyllix----that would be Roy who has ephysema and is babysitting his precious adored's daughter (who is the epitome of a loving soul to her dad), brindled black and tan mini-dachsund who is just a puppy so, there Sasha was outrunning poor winded Roy, his doggie poo-pickup in hand,

we got Sasha caught and cuddled in Phyllix arms-such a sweet baby. Whilst he caught his breath and pride gathered....we told him the story of Prince and he laffed himself pink again. Sasha just got covered and smothered with Bob, Linnyx, Phyllix kisses whilst we adored her....and agreed-it would be a long ten days of babysitting for Roy.

Then Mallory and Greg came over-and we told them Maisie's latest and they laffed until they cried....of course, doggie grooming, replete with toe nails, combing, a muzzle for our wroggly max who was blowing "I can't breathe you freeking human's...or walk because my nails are so long."

Then there was the grocery story happening....where THREE women that attended Keith's open house all accidentally found each other with us
think of the odds,
well-they enjoyed Prince stories....and we haven't even shared it with our dear friend Shelley whose mother was the one we helped out of her skinz...who happened to a cairn terrier owner.

Of course, we all understand the tastiness of the brick....
Prince was a wise one...still laffing about staying in the middle of the moving bed (I wish I was that smart  )
we get alot of happy blessing mileage out of Maisie stories,
it makes us be glad to be alive,
and befriended as we are by Princely owned ones,
even tho' we can't tell a Taurus from a Gemini anytime soon,
hugx,
it was a good Maisie day for us,
xoxox

Hi Linny and Lynn.
Glad you are enjoying the stories of "PRINCE."
If the tales of his antics can bring a smile to anyones face then he was put on this earth for a purpose. :D :D :D

God bless.
Maisie.
