I'm off for a week's holiday to Gozo on Tuesday! Fly to Malta then the ferry across to the little island. Dying to visit all the megalithic sites that are there.

And the temperature there is .... 18C at the moment! 8) 8)

Stanley has just gone off with the lady who looks after him, so now I can get on with packing; every time I opened the suitcase on the floor, he got in, turned round three times, and settled down in it!
Have to be up at silly o'clock tomorrow morning.

I'm always intrigued by dogs DNA memory about knocking the grass down before you sleep. :)

Enjoy your trip.

I've been away for two days and so have missed the start of Helen's adventure. I hope she has a good time.

We visited Gozo about 11 years ago and all we did was have a 4-by-4 trip around the island. It was only about four weeks after Gill's mastectomy operation and so it was quite a bit hairy. We thought we were going on a gentle drive around the island but the tour company changed it on the day. We both survived it. :D

The 5th day in Gozo, I picked up a chest infection - first a sore throat & then the rest!
Although on antibiotics, I've still got it. :(
After the chemo & all, my immune system is shot to hell & I'm prone to infections now.

Here are just a few of my Gozo photos, I haven't posted many yet on Flickr, but will post more later.

I like the photo of the seat - also you now know where to post your letters to 'Head Office'! ;)
