It is nearly 12 months since I posted here, but we are off again.

This time for a week in Anglesey, the old Island of Mona ('Ynys Mon' in Welsh).

Hopefully the weather will be dryer than we have had for the last few weeks and we can get out and walk to some of the 143 ancient sites on the island.

There is one just 3 fields away from where we are staying.

We have been warned that the internet reception in the island is very bad so I might not be able to check in here until I get back - so behave yourselves and keep well. :)

Hope you have a lovely time Paul. 2 nights ago I dreamt I was with a group of people scurrying along to return to a coach, after looking around somewhere (geological, maybe a cavern) on a trip, and when I turned round, you and Gill were behind me! It was nice to meet you.

Hi folks, We're back.

Thanks for your good wishes. :D

It rained and it blew - how it rained! and HOW it blew!

But we had a break.

We did visit some ancient sites - but didn't see Lynn in front of us at any one of them. :(

We went to a sea zoo and looked at the sea life they are protecting and, next door, was Halen Mon, the Anglesey Salt company where we had a very interesting guided tour.

We also did a lot of walking and it is good to get home and have a rest.

Sounds lovely (always up for some rain living in the desert) Paul...so glad you had a nice time. I'm really intrigued with your salt tour. Is this a family business and are they harvesting sea salt? I've only seen a program on Malden. Glad you are back and vibrating!! :D There was a big article about sound healing in the US senior magazine by AARP. They are catching up....

Thanx Helen, looks absolutely lovely and wish I could visit. You are right about travel, unless we post about our imaginary trips!

The Island of Anglesey is called 'Ynys Mon' in Welsh. Mona was the Roman name for the island.

'Halen Mon' translates as 'Salt Anglesey' which we English call 'Anglesey Sea Salt'.
(the 'Mon' should have an circumflex [inverted V] over the o making the pronunciation 'Mawn' rather than the short 'Mon'

We are off to Anglesey again, but this time we are going with a friend and meeting two more friends there. we are staying in a cottage on a farm where there are three ancient monuments - a stone age village, a ruined chapel and a chambered tomb. So it will be dowsing tools out to see what the energies are like there.

Hopefully photos will follow.

Be good while I'm away.
Love and hugs to you all.
